GENERAL FAQ

We keep it straightforward with flat rates: $45 for a half-day (up to 6 hours) or $75 for a full-day (up to 12 hours) per item. Sales tax is extra. Get a 10% discount for military/veterans with valid ID at pickup. For big groups (20+ people, such as birthdays or team events), give us a call for tailored pricing.

You need to be 18+ with a valid photo ID (driver's license, state ID, or passport) to rent and sign the waiver. Kids must have an adult guardian present. Solo paddling starts at age 8 with supervision (weather allowing). Ages 5-7 ride with an adult on 2-person gear. Riders need to be at least 50 lbs, able to sit calmly for an hour, and comfortable in a life jacket (which we supply).

Absolutely—splashes from paddling, drips, or waves are common. Our inflatables are designed for stability, but pack a towel and extra clothes just in case.

Paddle boards accommodate 1-2 people (or 1 + small dog). Kayaks come in 1-person or 2-person versions. Total max weight per item is 400 lbs, covering people and any gear—ideal for most outings.

Pack water, snacks, sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses (straps help), and quick-dry outfits (skip cotton to stay warm). For small dogs, include a leash, treats, and bags. Yes, constant supervision is required for children. Those 8+ can go solo if watched closely. Younger ones (5-7) share with an adult. We include kid-sized life jackets.

Yes, all users must sign our standard liability waiver at pickup. Bring everyone in your group to sign if adding more.

We offer U.S. Coast Guard-approved life jackets in sizes from infant/child to adult (up to 2XL or equivalent for larger builds). They're included free and disinfected regularly.

Yes, regardless of age, swimming ability, or equipment type, life jackets must be worn, zipped, and buckled at all times on the water for safety.

Yes, we're dog-friendly! Small dogs are welcome on paddle boards or kayaks at no extra charge (one per rental). No medium or large dogs on kayaks due to weight and nail concerns (okay on boards if stable). Use good judgment—dogs should be friendly, leashed, and comfortable on water. We don't provide pet life jackets, but you can bring your own.

Yes, light non-alcoholic food and beverages are allowed—keep portions small. Our dry bags help keep them secure and dry. Alcohol is prohibited; violations end the rental without refund.

Yes! Full-day rentals (up to 8 hours) are available for all items. Since these are pickup rentals, take them to any lake or Puget Sound spot, but return by closing time same-day. Equipment must not be left overnight.

No lockers available, but we provide dry bags for small items like wallets or phones. You're responsible for valuables—leave larger items in your car.

No, we specialize in human-powered inflatables: 1- or 2-person kayaks and paddle boards.

RESERVATION INFORMATION

Reservations aren't required but highly recommended, especially on weekends—we can sell out. Book ahead and reschedule easily if plans change. Walk-ins are first-come, first-served.

Book online from our menu at the top of the site, or call us. Reservations can be made up to 1 hour before pickup.

Adjust via your confirmation link or by calling, with 24+ hours' notice. We'll slot you into open times.

Late arrivals may shorten your rental time. Arrive 15-20 minutes early for waiver signing, gear fitting, and instructions.

Call us! We can sometimes make magic happen, but check back often—availability can open up if others cancel or reschedule (up to 24 hours prior).

Cancel with at least 24 hours' notice for a full refund—email or call us with your booking ID. Less than 24 hours: no refund, but we may offer credit. For weather cancellations (e.g., winds over 20 mph, lightning, or heavy rain), we'll refund or reschedule fully.
